Brief Introduction

KRS FRP Lighting Sheet (transparent panel), also known as fiberglass reinforced polyester light panel, made from high-performance protective film, unsaturated polyester resin and glass fiber. Because of its stable quality, durable features, deeply welcomed by customers, the product can be widely applied in industrial / commercial / civil roof and wall, that is, chemical factory, steel structure workshop, warehouse, canopy, car shed, passageway, day lighting shed, greenhouse and so on.

It is well-known that chemical workshops have too much acid and alkaline compounds staying on the surface of metals when they floated in the air. It makes the metal roof and wall be serious corrosion. Therefore when choosing the roof and wall materials for this kind of workshops, anti-acid and aging resistance is key emphasized. FRP is widely applied in the area of chemical factory and melting industries due to its anti-corrosion and aging resistance property. 

KRS FRP lighting sheet (transparent panel) has three layer as following.

A-Recently with 23-micron layer of excellent weathering anti-aging protection film;
B-The next to outer layer is transparent & whethering performance of gel coat to further protect the sheet matrix;
C-The base layer is composed of unsaturated polyester resin and E-glass fiber composite layer.

FRP Lighting Sheet Features

Light transmission
The light transmission of KRS FRP Lighting Sheet is between 65-90%. Light through FRP lighting sheet scatters and is mild. It will not form a light band so as to make the indoor brighter.
Weather resistance
The 23μm anti-aging film from Dupont covering on the surface of FRP sheet improves its property of weather resistance. The anti- ultraviolet adsorbing agent mixing in the raw materials absorbs 99.9% of ultraviolet ray of the visible light transmitted through the FRP sheets.This UV protection will help to prevent the dissolution and discoloration of the materials. The unique technology used in KRS FRP Lighting Sheet makes the life span of the sheet up to over 15 years ( a limited fifteen-year warranty).
Impact resistance
The strengthening fiber-glass materials criss-cross the structure of the products, which helps to improve the impact resistance of FRP sheet. When impacted by spalls or hails, they are hardly broken.
Corrosion resistance
The products resist various acids, alkalis and peroxides, especially suitable for  application in the coastal areas and corrosive places.
Temperature performance
KRS FRP Lighting Sheet (transparent panel) is a kind of hot solid high polymer materials. It is designed for normal use in temperatures from - 40℃ to120℃.
Temperature insulation
The coefficient of heat-conduction of KRS FRP Lighting Sheet is 0.18kcat / mhr℃ , only 1/4 of the glass. That is why it has a good property of temperature insulation.
Fire-retardant
The fire-retardant of KRS FRP Lighting Sheet is divided into ordinary grade I and grade II. The oxygen index of the grade I of fire retardant is ≥32, the grade II retardant is ≥26. It meets the requrirement of the fire-fighting department.
Heat stability
KRS FRP Lighting Sheet is a kind strengthening plastic of hot solid fiber-glass . Its coefficient of heat expansion is 2.2 x 10-5mm/mm/℃, only 2 times of metal materials. For this reason, when it matches with a metal sheet, the displacement is relatively small, not easy to leak.

Easy to install & maintain
